foregoing petition, It is ordered that F. McLeod &
W.M. Ives Esqrs in conjunction with Court be appointed
to examine the above named applicant

Satisfactory It is ordered that he be admitted to
the bar on taking the usual oath & Signing the
Roll and that the Clerk issue a license to him
on the payment of Costs

And now on this day came the
parties by their respective attornies and the defendant
Saying nothing in bar or preclusion of the plaintiffs right
to recover On motion of Plaintiffs attorney it is ordered
that the plaintiff do have his Judgment against the
defendant by default and that the Clerk do assess
the damages Whereupon the Clerk having assessed the
damages at Two hundred & fifty dollars - It is ordered
considered & adjudged by the Court that the plain
=tiff do have and recover off and from the defend
-ant the Said Sum of Two hundred & fifty dollars for
his damages together with his Cost in this behalf
Expended taxed at Six & Sixty four Cents
and the defendant in Mercy &c
Adjourned untill 9 Oclock tomorrow Morning
