Alachua County   }  At a regular Term of the Circuit Court
for the Suwannee Circuit of Florida, this day to wit on the
Twenty fourth day of June AD 1867 begun and held at
Gainesville for the County of Alachua Present his honor
Thos T. Long Judge, George J. Arnow Solicitor, John O. Cosby Sheriff
and S.P. Bevill Clerk, There having a failure to Summon Jurors
agreeable to Law, it is ordered that a Venire facias be issued
returnable immediately Commanding the Sheriff to Summon
                     Jurors to attend at the Term of this Court

Whereupon the Sheriff Summoned the following to Serve as
Jurors for the present Term to Wit
1  Elias Earl             8  Arch Hague      15  J.W. Phifer
2  John T. Matthews       9  T.P. Boulware
3  W.E. Lewis             10 T.B. Lewis
4  R.Z.H. Law             11 F.R. Polk
5  Samuel Lowman          12 Israel Shearhouse
6  Benjamin P. Boulware   13 Wiley Hicks
7  Leu Williams           14 J.M. Croxton 
The following were then chosen and Solicited to Serve as
Grand Jurors for the Term to wit









who having returned under directions of the Court to Elect their
foreman, there after & upon the Same day returned unto Court
and reported Elias Earl to be their choice as foreman Where
upon the Said Elias Earl was duly Sworn to discharge the duties
as foreman as aforesaid, who having received his charge of
the Court, returned under charge of Samuel Monsell, who
was duly Sworn as Bailiff of said Jury for the Term to deliber
=ate upon Such Business as Might be brought before them
