And now on this day comes the
Said plaintiff by George Means Esqr his attorney, and the
Said plaintiff by his attorney aforesaid, having moved
for Judgement for want of a plea, and a writ of Enquiry
to assess the Damages, returnable instants which was
granted: and whereupon came a Jury to wit
Cornelius Dupont John Dick Ramon Hernandes
John L. Philips Cristobal Brown John O. Conova
John E. Masters John Whitney Daniel Mickler
John Capo Senr George Bush M.R. Andrew
who having been duly sworn to true Enquiry make
into the damages Sustained by the plaintiff in this action, and
assess the Same according to the Evidence and after hearing
the proofs and alligations in the Case the Jurors aforesaid
upon their oath do say, That they find the plaintiff has
Sustained Damages by reason of the premises, and that
they assess the same at the sum of Twelve thousand five
hundred and twelve dollars and fifty two Cents

Judgement upon the verdict of the Jury rendered in
the case in the 6th Inst
Thereupon it is considered
by the Court that the said plaintiff do recover of the
Said defendant the Sum of Twelve Thousand five hun
dred and twelve dollars and fifty two Cents so in
manner and form aforesaid found against him in the
