Alachua County } At a regular Term of the Circuit Court
for the Suwannee Circuit of Florida this day to wit on the
Eleventh day of November A.D. 1867 began & held at Gainesville
for the County of Alachua Present his honor Thomas T. Long
Judge, George J. Arnow Solicitor, John O. Cosby Sheriff and
S.P. Bevill Clerk, There having been a failure to Summon
Jurors agreeable to Law, it is ordered that a Venire facias be
issued returnable immediately Commanding the Sheriff to
Summons Twelve --- Jurors to attend at this Term of
Court Thos T. Long Judge
Whereupon the Sheriff Summoned the following to Serve as Jurors
for the present Term to wit
1 W.L. Campbell 8 Edward Lewis Senr 15 George Gillett
2 John P. Feaster 9 F.A. Underwood
3 H.P. Graddick 10 W.D. Tillman
4 John Stephens 11 J.R.W. Grissom
5 James Pardee 12 James Furguson
6 John H. Lewis 13 Thos W. Colson
7 Thomas Chesnutt 14 Andrew Orman
The following were then chosen to Serve as Petit
Jurors for the present Term to wit

The Grand Jury then returned under direction of
the Court to Select their Foreman, there after and upon the
Same day returned into Court and reported William L.
Campbell to be their choice as foreman Whereupon the
Said Wm L. Campbell was duly Sworn to discharge the
duties as foreman as a foresaid, who having received
his charge of the Court, returned under charge of
Nailer Thompson who was duly Sworn as Bailiff of
Said Jury for the Term to deliberate upon the business
as might be brought before them The Court then
proceeded to call the trial Docket, the following
Judgements were then taken to wit --
