And now on this day came
the parties by their respective attornies, and thereupon
came a Jury to wit

who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue
joined by the parties, after hearing the testimony of Witness
the argument of Council and the charge of the Court
retired to Consider of their Verdict and thereafter, to wit
on the Same returned into Court and rendered the following
Verdict We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and assess
the damages at Two hundred & twelve 86/100, It is ordered
Considered and adjudged by the Court that the
Plaintiff do have and recover off and from the
defendant the said Sum of Two hundred & twelve 86/100
Dollars for his damages together with his Cost
taxed at Twelve ---- ----- ------ ------- Dollars &
-------- Cents and the defendant in Mercy &c
Adjourned untill tomorrow 9 OClock Thos. T. Long
