                    And now on this day came the parties
by their respective attornies, and thereupon came a
Jury to wit

     2   H.M. Shooks              8   J.B. Lewis
     3   J. Davis                 9   J.L. Kriminger
     4   J.B.H. Swift             10  J. Joseph
     5   J.L. Cameron             11  E.A. Jeffers
     6   R.L. Wilson              12  A.H. Leonard
who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue
joined by the parties after hearing the testimony of witness
the argument of Council and the charge of the Court
retired to consider of their verdict and thereupon to wit
on the Same day returned into Court and rendered the
following verdict We the Jury find for the plaintiff
and assess the damages at Two hundred & twenty Five hundred and
Eight Seventy two ($572) Dollars & Fifty six Nine ---
Cents Whereupon it is ordered considered and adju
dged by the Court that the plaintiff do have and
recover off and from the defendant the said sum
Two hundred & twenty Eight Five hundred & Seventy
($572) Dollars & Fifty Six Nine Cents for his
damages together with his Cost taxed at
Seven   Dollars & Twenty ------ Cents and the
defendant in mercy &c
