who having returned under direction of the Court to
Elect their foreman, then & after & upon the same day
returned into Court and reported
to be their choice as foreman, whereupon
the said was duly Sworn to
discharge the duties as foreman as aforesaid, who
having received his charge of the Court, returned under
charge who was duly Sworn
as Bailiff od said Jury for the Tern to deliberate upon
Such business as might be brought before them
The Court then adjourned until 3 OClock
Met Pursuant to adjournment

And now on this day
came the parties by their respective attornies and
the defendant saying nothing in bar or preclusion
of the plaintiffs right to recover, on motion of plant
=iffs, it is ordered that the Plantiff do have his
judgement against the defendant by default &
that the Clerk do assess the damages Whereupon
the Clerk having assessed the damages at
Dollars &
Cents It is ordered, Considered and adjudged
by the Court that the plantiff do have and recover
off and from the defendant the said Sum of
Dollars &
- Cents together with his Costs taxed at
Dollars & cents and
the defendant in mercy &c
