And now on this day came the
parties by their respective attornies, and whereupon came
a Jury to wit

5 R.L. Wilson 11 James R. Sanchez
6 J.D. Matheson 12 Gilbert L. Denton
who being duly sworn well and truly to try the issue
joined by the parties, after hearing the testimony
of witness, the argument of Counsil, and the charge
of the Court, returned to consider of their Verdict
and thereupon to wit on the same day returned
into Court and rendered the following verdict We
the jury find for the defendant and assess the damages at
two hundred and four Dollars & Cents Where
upon It is ordered considered and adjudged by
the Court that the plantiff do have and recover off
and from the defendant the said sum of two hun=
dred and four Dollars & Cents for his
damages together with the Cost taxed at Eleven Dollars
& ten cents and the defendant in mercy &c

And now on this day came the parties
by their respective Attorneys and the defendant saying nothing in bar or
preclusion of the Plaintiffs right to recover, on motion of Plaintiff's Attorney
it is ordered that the Plaintiff do have his Judgement against the de=
fendant and that the Clerk do assess the damages - Whereupon the
Clerk having assessed the damages at Thirteen hundred
Dollars & --------- cents it is ordered considered
and adjudged by the Court, that the plaintiff do have and recover of and
from the defendant the said sum of Thirteen hundred -----
Dollars and cents for his damages together with his costs
taxed at Dollars and cents and the
defendant in Mercy &c
