And now on this day Came the parties
by their respective attornies, and thereupon came a jury
to wit: 1 Jno Omalley 7 James R. Sanchez

4 J.W. McRae 10 W.S. Land
5 R.L. Wilson 11 Joseph Rowe
6 Wm Strickland 12 James ****d
who being duly Sworn well and truly to try the issue
joined by the parties after hearing the evidence of witness
the argument of Counsil and the charge of the Court
retired to consider of their verdict, and thereupon on the
next day returned the following verdict, We the Jury
find for the plaintiff and assess the damages at
Seventeen hundred & Seventy four 56/100 Dollars
Whereupon, It is ordered Considered by the Judge
that the Plaintiff do have and recover off and
from the defendant the said Sum of Seven
teen hundred & Seventy four Dollars & fifty Six
dollars for his damages together with his Costs
taxed at Seventy eight Dollars & two
Cents and the defendant in Mercy &c
