     Monday November 23rd 1868

State of Florida  }    Solicitor
      vs          } Perjury
Solomon J. Peeler }    Gardner & Finley & O.A. Myers
                  On this day came the Solicitor 
Archibald T. Banks, who prosecutes the pleas 
of the State in this behalf, as well as the pris
=oner, in person, who having entered a plea of 
not guilty thereupon came a Jury to wit

 4                       10
 5                       11
 6                       12

who having been duly Sworn well and truly to try and
the deliberation made between the State of Florida, and
the prisoner at the Bar, after giving into the testimony
discontinued the Case Whereupon the Jury made
the following Verdict We the Jury find the prisoner
not guilty the Judge thereupon ordered the 
prisoner released and finally discharged



The Grand Jury came into Court and made the
following return We the Grand Jury find for the State
the following true Bills Viz = State of Florida vs. Isaac
Sparkman Cheating = State of Florida vs. Joseph
Speed, Larceny = State of Florida vs. Charles F. Bailey
Murder, State of Florida vs. J.E. Collins, Purchasing
and receiving Stolen goods, State of Florida vs. William
Casson, fraudulently removing mortgage property, State
of Florida vs. Wiley Newman and William White
Larceny, State of Florida vs. Isaac Sparkman, fraud
=ulently removing mortgage property, State of Florida vs.
Stephen F. Harvard, assault with intent to Kill
State of Florida vs. Bill Morgan, Emmett Wright, Alfred
McCall, Smart Walker and Hezekiah Fason
Murder -----
