be published in our County paper =
                     We would respectfully call the attention of the proper
authority to the fact that one Richard H. Black a Justice of the Peace in
and for this County has been guilty of mal practice in office in assuming
authority and in trying causes what did not come under the Jurisdiction
of the Justice's Court.
                     We would most respectfully and earnestly call the at=
tention of the Legislature to the fact that the Florida Rail Road a Crea=
ture of the Legislature enjoying the benefits of large grants from the
State and intended as an institution of General Commerce to the citi
zens of the State has by miss-management entirely failed to carry out the
purposes for which it was chartered and has become an actual nuisance
to every County of the State through which it passes - we would more especial
ly call the attention of the Legislature to the exorbitant rates of freight
charged by said Company and that through their published schedule by
which to run trains over their Road they run their several trains so irreg
ularly as guilty to interfere with the convenience of the traveling public We
earnestly call the attention of the County Commissioners to the deplorable
condition in which the said Company keep the crossings of the various Public
Roads which cross their line in our County.
                         We tender our thanks to his honor J.H. Goss Judge
of this Court for the Courtesy and impartial manner in which he has
discharged the duties of his office at this term of the Court - also to A.T. Banks
Esq. for the energetic and courteous manner in which he has discharged
the duties of his office as Solicitor.
