And now on this day came the parties by their respective attorneys,
and thereupon came a Jury to wit:

who being duly well and truly to try the issue joined by the parties
after hearing the testimony of witnesses, the arguments of Counsil and the
charge of the Court, retired to consider of their verdict, and thereupon, and
on the same day returned into Court, and rendered the following
verdict, We the Jury find for the Plaintiff and assess the damages
at Two hundred and Two hundred & Ninety four 85/100 Dollars
whereupon it is ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the plaintiff do have and recover off and from the Defen
dant the said sum of Two hundred & Ninety four 85/100
for his damages together with his costs taxed at Ten
Dollars fourteen cents and the defen
dant in mercy &c
