                 vs             }  Assumpsit
George W. Means, Administrator  }   Judgt on Scire Facias
of William C. Cunningham, decd  }
        Whereas, at a Circuit Court, on the 9th day, of July, 1867, William
E. Johnson, Assignee, &c the plaintiff, by the judgment of the Court,
had recovered against James G. Jones, Administrator of William C. Cun=
ningham, deceased, the defendant, Forty seven hundred & sixty one 42/100 dollars
and $     the costs by him expended, as appears to us of record. And whereas the
death of said James G. Jones, Administrator of William C. Cunningham, deceased,
then defendant, was suggested on the record, and scire facias was granted,
issued and served on George W. Means, Administrator of William C. Cun-
ningham, deceased, who duly appeared and pled his plea, which plea
was overruled and stricken out by the Court, Therefore it is considered
by the Court, that the said plaintiff recover against George W. Means, Ad-
ministrator of William C. Cunningham, deceased, the sum of Four
Thousand Seven Hundred & sixty one 42/100 Dollars, and Five Hundred
  to be recovered of the goods & chattels, lands, & tenements which were of William C. Cunningham, deceased
& Forty Five 60/100 Dollars, the interest thereon since accrued^and $37 55/100
the costs further by him about his suit in this behalf expended, and
the said deft in mercy &c

Camden, South Carolina, the plaintiff, by the judgment of the Court, had recovered 
against James G. Jones, Administrator of William C. Cunningham, deceased, 
the defendant, Three Thousand Eight Hundred & Fifty Nine 88/100 Dollars, and
$        costs by him expended, as appears to us of record, and scire facias was 
granted, issued and served on George W. Means, Administrator of William 
C. Cunningham, deceased, who duly appeared and pled his plea, which 
plea was overruled and stricken out by the Court. Therefore it is 
considered by the Court, that the said plaintiff recover against 
George W. Means, Administrator of William C. Cunningham, 
deceased, the sum of Three Thousand Eight Hundred & Fifty Nine 88/100
Dollars, and Four Hundred & Thirty One Dollars, the interest thereon 
since accrued, and $37 55/100 the costs further by him about his suit in this 
behalf expended, to be levied of the goods & chattels, lands and
tenements which were of the said William C. Cunningham,
deceased, and the said defendant in mercy &c
