And now on this day came the parties and thereupon
came a Jury to wit

2 William Nelson 6 George Williams 10 Gilbert Jones
3 Daniel C. Hart 7 Arthur Simmons 11 Arthur Jones
4 Henry Avra 8 Isaac Peach 12 Thomas Scott = who
being duly sworn well and truly to try the issues joined by the par-
ties After hearing the testimony of the witnesses, the argument of Coun-
sel and the charge of the Court retired to consider of their verdict and
thereupon on the same day returned into Court and rendered the
following verdict = We, the Jury, find for the Plaintiff and assess
the damages at one hundred and fifty nine Dollars & forty eight
cents Whereupon it is ordered considered and adjudged by the
Court that the Plaintiff do have and recover off and from the
Defendant the said sum of one hundred and fifty nine Dollars &
forty eight cents for his damages together with his costs taxed at
Dollars & cents & the Defendant in mercy &c

thereupon on the same day returned into Court and rendered the fol=
lowing verdict = We, the Jury, find for the Plaintiff and assess the
damages at thirteen hundred and three Dollars Whereupon it is order
ed considered and adjudged by the Court that the Plaintiff do have
and recover off and from the defendant the said sum of thir=
teen hundred and three Dollars for his damages together
with his costs taxed at Six Dollars &
forty cents and the defendant in mercy &c
