                     And now on this day
                     came the Solicitor J.B. Dawkins
Esq who Prosecutes the Pleas in this behalf as
well as the Prisoner in his Own Propper Person
who having entered the Plea of not guilty thereupon
came a Jury to wit

Who having been duly Sworn well and truly to try
and true deliverance to make between the State of
Florida upon the Prisoners at the Bar having heard
the testimony of the witnesses the arguments of Coun
cil and the charge of the Court retired in charge
of the Sworn Bailiff to consider of their verdict and
thereafter to wit on the same day returned into court
and rendered the following verdict to wit
We the Jury do find the defants not guilty not guilty
with the assault /intent to Kill but guilty of
an assault and assess the damages at five dollars
each whereupon it is Ordered considered and
adjudged by the Court that the defendants do
pay the said fine of five dollars each together with
the cost of this Prossecution taxed
                     dollars                          cents
and it furthered Ordered by the court that the
Said defendants do Stand committed untill
the same are Paid
