or and assign firmly by these presents. Signed and seal-
ed this 20th day of April, A.D. 1912 The condition of the
above obligation is such that whereas the said The First
Natl Bank of Gainesville has this day bargained and
sold to the said Alex Stephens the following described
property, lying and being in the County of Alachua
and State of Florida.
Commencing at the N.W. corner Newmans Lot which
was formerly owned by Guines & Cathcart run southerly
at right angles to the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad seven-
ty five (75) feet: thence at right angle westerly Twenty
(20) feet: thence at right angle seventy five (75) feet
to the right of way of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad:
thence easterly along said right of way Twenty feet (20)
to place of beginning, lying in and being part of
Block Four (4) of Range One (1) Moors Addition to the
Town of High Springs Florida and in consideration there-
of, the said Alex Stephens has paid Twenty five
dollars $ 25.00 cash and has executed 7 certain promiss-
ory note of even date herewith, payable as follows
Twenty ($ 25.00) payable every three (3) months from
date of April 20th 1912 all bearing interest at the
rate of 8 % from date now, if the said Alex Stephens
shall well and truly pay the said promissory notes,
with interest as stated therein, and shall pay all tax-
es and insurance upon the within-described property,
into the possession of which from the date hereof, it
is hereby agreed he shall enter and continue, then
the said The First Natl Bank of Gainesville shall ex-
ecute a deed in fee simple to the said Alex Stephens
for the aforesaid property, when this obligation is to be
void, else to remain in full force and virtue.
