deed of the said corporation, and for the uses and pur-
poses therein contained and expressed; and they further
acknowledged before me that the same was done by and
under the authority and direction of the board of directors

 Alachua County.   }   Whereas, We, M.J. Patterson and J.H.
Patterson, her husband, firstly indebted to Martha L. Dick-
inson in the sum of Twenty-six hundred ($ 2600.00) Dollars,
which said sum of money is covenanted to be paid by
one certain promissory note bearing even date herewith, the
following being a true copy of same:
$ 2600.00              Gainesville, Fla., Apr. 2, 1912.
        1 year after date, I, we, or either of us, promise
to pay to the order of Martha L. Dickinson, Twenty-six
Hundred Dollars, Value received at the office of the
Dutton Bank in Gainesville, Florida. With interest at
the rate of 8 per cent. per annum until paid. The makers
and endorsers of this note severally waive presentment for
payment, protest and notice of protest and non-payment
of this note, and consent that time of payment may be
extended without notice thereof. And should it become
necessary, in the opinion of the holder, to collect this
note through an attorney, either of us, whether maker,
security or endorser on this note, hereby agree to pay
all costs of such collection, including a reasonable at-
torney's fee. Interest payable semi-annually.
