This Indenture, made this 23rd day of December A.D. 1911,
between W. Turner Pound and Mary Phifer Pound his wife
of the County of Alachua and State of Florida, parties of
the first part, and The City of Gainesville of the County of
Alachua and State of Florida, party of the second part
Witnesseth, That the said parties of the first part, for and
in consideration of the sum of $ 1.00) one dollars, in hand
paid by the said parties of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledge, have remised, released and
quit-claimed, and by these presents do remise, release
and quit-claim unto the said party of the second pa rt,
forever, all the right, title, interest, claim and demand
which the said parties of the first part have in and to
the following described lot, piece or parcel of land to-wit:
A Paralleliogram of land Forty (40) Feet east and west
by twelve hundred seventy two feet more or less north
and south and bounded on the east by a line two
