This Indenture, Made this twelth day of July A.D. 1907
Between Mrs. L.V. Hammond (her husband) W.B. Hammond
Joining in this conveyance of the County of Marion
in the State of Florida, parties of the first part, and
L.J. Stokes of the County of Putnam in the State of
Florida, party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the
said parties of the first part, for and in consideration
of the sum of ($ 100.00) one hundred Dollars, to them
in hand paid by the said party of the second part, the
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bar-
gained and sold to the said party of the second part,
his heirs and assigns forever, the following described
land, situate, lying and being in the County of Ala-
chua State of Florida, to-wit: Lot (8) eight in block (6)
six lots (1 & 12) one and twelve in block (9) nine, lot. (11)
eleven in block (10) ten, lot (6) six in block (11) eleven.
Lots (5 & 6) Five and six in block (12) twelve and lot
(7) seven in block (11) twenty-two lying and being
in the town of Hawthorn. Alachua County Florida
and the said parties of the first part do hereby fully
warrant the title to said land, and will defend the
same against the lawful claims of all persons whom-
soever. In Witness Whereof, The said parties of the
first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the
day and year first above written.

   I hereby Certify, That on this day personally appeared
before me, an officer duly authorized to administer oaths
and take acknowledgments, Mrs. L.V. Hammond & W.B.
Hammond to me well known to be the persons described
in and who executed the foregoing deed, and who ack-
nowledged before me that they executed the same freely
