This Deed, made this 20th day of May 1902. By R.L.
Davis of Pitt County and state of North Carolina, to
G.W. Davis of Alachua County and State of Florida
witnesseth, that said R.L. Davis in consideration of Five
Dollars to him paid by the said G.W. Davis the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold
and by these presents do bargain, sell and convey to
said G.W. Davis and his heirs, a certain tract of land
in Alachua County and State of Florida and bounded as
follows: Lot (1) one (2) two (3) three and (4) four in block
(4) four Waits Crossing Florida being the property formerly
occupied by P.B. Turpeu containing four acres of land
more or less To have and to hold the aforesaid tract
of land and all privileges and appurtenances thereto
belonging to the said G.W. Davis and heirs and
assigns, to him and their only behalf and the said
R.L. Davis covenant that is seized of said premises
on fee, and have the right to convey the same in
fee simple, that the same is free from all incum-
brances
