brances, with an abstract of title to the same, but
should the said John Hagan fail to perform
his part of this contract promptly at the same
time and in the manner specified, time being
the essence of this contract, then the above twenty five
dollars shall be forfeited by him as liquidated
damages, and the above contract shall be and be-
come null and void.
