This Indenture, Made this 27th day of July, A.D.
1912, by and between J.W. Griffin, (single) of Alachua
County, State of Florida, party of the first part, and
John Joseph Griffin of Alachua County, State of Flor-
ida, party of the second part. Witnesseth, That the
said party of the first part, for and in consideration
of the sum of One Thousand ($ 1000.00) Dollars and
other good and valuable considerations to him in hand
paid by the party of the second part, the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and
sold to the said party of the second part, his heirs
and assigns forever, the following described land,
to-wit: West half of the North-west quarter and west
half of southeast quarter of North-west quarter of
Section Sixteen (16), Township Ten (10), Range Eighteen
(18) East, in Alachua County, Florida. And the said
party of the first part does hereby fully warrant
the title to said land, and will defend the
same against the lawful claims of all persons
whomsoever.
In Witness Whereof, the said party of the first
part has hereunto set his hand and seal.
