This indenture, made this 1st day of January 1912,
between C.W. Wells his wife Julia B. Wells of
the County of Columbia in the State of Florida party
of the first part and James E. Thompson of the County
of Alachua in the State of Florida party of the
second part. Witnesseth: That the said parties 
of the first part, for and in consideration of the
sum of Forty dollars, to them in hand paid
by the said party of the second part, the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bar-
gained and sold to the said party of the second
part, his heirs and assigns forever, the following
described lots, pieces, parcels or tract of land, sit-
uated and being in Alachua County, Florida, to-wit.
Lots Eight (8) Eleven (11) in Block Two (2) Section
(14) Fourteen Township Eight (8) Range Eighteen (18)
East in Wells Addition to Town of Alachua
To have and to hold the above described premises,
together with all and singular the tenements, the
hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belong-
ing or in any wise appertaining, unto him
the said party of the second part, heirs and ass-
igns forever. And the said parties of the first part
