The Grantor, Emma Annie Thomas (Widow) of Alachua
County, Florida, in consideration of Five hundred Dollars paid=
being seized in fee simple hereby Grant, Bargain, Sell and Convey
with the general Covenants of Warranty, unto Esther M. Powell
her heirs and assigns, forever to have and to hold in fee
simple the following described Real Estate, in Alachua
County, Florida, to wit: All that certain lot, piece or tract of
land particularly known and described as follows: Begin-
ing at the North East corner of Section 22 Township 11, Range
20 thence running in a Westerly direction on the said section
line 10 chains, thence in a southerly direction 10 chains, thence
in an Easterly direction to the eastern boundary line of said
section 10 chains, thence North along the said boundary
line of said section 10 chains to the point of beginning. Contain-
ing by estimation (10) ten acres of land more or less. Also
another lot or parcel of land described as beginning at
the North West corner of Section 23 Township 11 Range 20,
thence running in an Easterly direction along the said
Section line 5 chains, thence in a Southerly direction 10
chains, thence in a Westerly direction 5 chains to the
Western boundary line of said Section, thence Northerly
along the said boundary line of said Section 10 chains
to the point of beginning, containing by estimation (5)
five acres of land more or less. The two lots of land
being & lying contignous to any immediately adjoin-
ing each other: and the whole containing by estimation
(15) fifteen acres of land more or less. Together with all
and singular the tenements, hereditaments & appur-
tenances to the same belonging or in any wise
appertaining which we, our heirs, our executors and
administrators, will forever Warrant and Defend, Here-
by Relinquishing all rights of Dower Courtesy, Separ-
ate Estate Homestead, and all rights Whatsoever in
the above premises.
