This Indenture, Made this 3rd day of August between
A.M. Torrence of Alachua County, Florida, a bachelor,
party of the first part, and Oscar H. Thomas, of the
same State and County, party of the second part.
Witnesseth, that the party of the first part for and
in the consideration of the sum of one Dollar, and
other valuable consideration, in hand paid by the
party of the second part, at and before the enseal-
ing and delivery of these presence, the receipt
Whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bar-
gained, sold and conveyed and by these presents
does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto him,
the said party of the second part, all of the
following described lot, piece, tract or parcel
of land situated, lying and being in the
County of Alachua, State of Florida particular-
ly known and described as follows, to-wit:
Lot No. 3 In block one of the University place
in the City of Gainesville, Florida as per
plat recorded in plat book "A", page 77, of the
Public Records of Alachua County, Florida.
Together with all and singular the tenements,
hereditaments and appurtenances, thereunto be-
longing or in anywise appertaining: To have
and to hold, unto the said party of the sec-
ond part, his heirs, and assigns, in fee sim-
ple absolute. And the first party does hereby
fully warrant the title to the land hereby
